The ROV Basic DriverCourse offers students approximately three hours of driving time on a closed range and post-exercise discussions to expand on the driving skills and strategies you’ve learned. At select locations\, students will also be able to experience open trail exercises to practice the skills and knowledge they have learned in a real off-road environment. All students must provide their own machine for this course. \nThe Closed Range Exercises include: \n\nUnderstanding and identifying an ROV’s primary parts and controls\nStarting out and stopping smoothly\nLow speed steering\nTurning and backing up\nBraking\, both normal and quick stops\nSwerving\n\nBefore you enroll in this ROV Basic DriverCourse\, please note all students must be at least 16 years of age\, hold a valid driver’s license\, and have completed the ROHVA E-Course prior to their arrival. Limit 6 students.  \nNOTE: This course is free but donations are appreciated and help sustain programs like this. We hope you will consider joining as a member or making a donation.  Thank you for your support. \n\n\n\nMake a Donation\, or\nBecome an ASR Member\n\n\n\n  \n\n
