SUMMARY:Butte Elementary Youth Safety Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Alaska Safe Riders is excited to visit Butte Elementary for an engaging\, age-appropriate backcountry safety presentation. Executive Director Mike Buck and Marketing Director Sierra Winter will lead students through hands-on learning focused on ATV and snowmachine safety\, ice travel\, proper trip planning and preparedness\, hazard awareness\, communication\, wilderness first aid concepts\, and what to do in an emergency. Students will be encouraged to participate\, ask questions\, interact with safety equipment\, and build practical habits they can use while recreating outdoors in Alaska. Door prizes will help reward engaged participation throughout the presentation.
