BACKCOUNTRY PREPARED

  • Key concepts of avalanche Awareness and ATV/Snowmobile safety
  • Key concepts of water safety
  • Communication
  • Basic Survival
  • Environment and wildlife impact and avoidance
  • Wilderness First Aid
  • Proper steps to follow in an emergency

This project is a joint partnership with Alaska Safe Riders and the Alaska Avalanche Information Center and made possible with support from the Alaska Department of Public Safety Division Alaska State Troopers.
