As we wrap up another incredible year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Thanks to our members, partners, instructors, sponsors, and the wider riding community, 2025 was a year of growth, connection, and meaningful progress toward safer riding across Alaska. From education clinics and awareness seminars to weekly trail reports, new resources, and community conversations, Alaska Safe Riders continued to show up where it matters most—on the snow, in the mountains, and alongside riders at every experience level.
Looking ahead, we’re heading into the new year with momentum and an exciting lineup of events, expanded education opportunities, and continued improvements to our membership platform to make it easier than ever to access the tools, knowledge, and community that support safer riding. This newsletter recaps some highlights from the year, shares what’s coming up, celebrates our sponsors who make this work possible, and outlines ways you can get involved—whether through membership, sponsorship, or simply spreading the word. We’re glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to ride into the next season together.
Our work would not be possible without the support of organizations that believe in safer riding and stronger outdoor communities. Becoming an Alaska Safe Riders sponsor is a meaningful way to invest in education, awareness, and hands-on training that directly supports riders across the state. Sponsorship opportunities are flexible and designed to align with your organization’s values, offering visibility, community connection, and a tangible impact on rider safety. Whether you’re a business, foundation, or agency, we invite you to join us in advancing responsible off-highway vehicle use in Alaska. Thank you to all of our members for your patience as we transitioned to a new membership platform. We know there were a few website headaches along the way, and we truly appreciate you bearing with us. This update allows us to better organize member benefits and resources, and as we continue refining the site, our goal is to make everything easier and more accessible for you.
Alaska Safe Riders members currently receive exclusive discounts with a growing list of partner brands that support rider safety, community, and responsible recreation. Member benefits include savings on design and print services with The Sierra Winter Way, discounted swag, lodging discounts at Bald Mountain BNB and Gunsight Mountain Lodge, and other Alaska-based offerings that add real value to active membership. Access to discounts is available through proof of active membership or members-only promo codes visible once logged in. We are actively recruiting additional Alaska and industry partners to expand this program, strengthen our membership offerings, and continue building toward a safer, more informed riding community across the state.
